
Baileys Hot Chocolate
There’s nothing quite like sipping on a warm, creamy Baileys hot chocolate to kick back and relax. This cozy drink combines rich cocoa, smooth dark chocolate, and the delicious Irish duo of Baileys Irish Cream and Jameson Irish Whiskey. It’s the ultimate winter treat that feels like a hug in a mug. It’s super easy to whip up, and perfect for a chilly evening or holiday gatherings with family and friends!
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1-2 tbsp granulated sugar adjust to taste
- 2 cups milk
- 1 oz dark chocolate roughly chopped
- 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Pour the milk into a medium pot (or saucepan) over medium heat until it is warmed.
- Add the cocoa powder, chopped dark chocolate, sugar, and salt to the milk.
- Whisk the ingredients together, stirring constantly until everything is dissolved and the chocolate is melted, creating a creamy hot chocolate base.
- Remove the pot from the heat and carefully stir in the Baileys Irish Cream and Jameson Irish Whiskey until fully combined.
- Pour the creamy Baileys hot chocolate into, and top with marshmallows, whipped cream, chocolate shavings and/or sprinkles.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute any milk, such as almond or coconut milk, but whole milk works best for a smoother, creamier drink.
- For an even creamier Baileys hot chocolate, consider adding heavy cream or half-and-half to your ingredients.
