- Preheat Oven to 350°F (180°C )
- Mix butter, garlic, parsley, optional truffle oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Slice each crumpet in half horizontally. Spread garlic butter evenly on each piece.
- Layer crumpets in a baking dish and sprinkle chosen cheese over the top.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh chives on top before serving.
