
Chive Blossom Whipped Butter
This Chive Blossom Whipped Butter is a delectable spread that brings a vibrant, fresh twist to your favourite dishes. Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 4 tbsp chive blossoms freshly picked & finely chopped (make sure they are clean and dry)
- Salt to taste (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter and chive blossoms.
- Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip the butter and chive blossoms together on medium speed until well combined and fluffy.
- If desired, add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor. Mix well.
- Once the butter is whipped to your desired consistency and flavor, transfer it to a serving dish or shape it into a log using plastic wrap.
- Chill the chive blossom whipped butter in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the whipped butter at room temperature alongside freshly baked bread, toast, grilled vegetables, or seafood dishes

- Refrigerator: Transfer the whipped butter to an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks to preserve freshness and flavour.
- Freezer: For longer storage, freeze the whipped butter in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag, making sure to remove excess air. Label the container with the date. It can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months.
- Thawing: When ready to use, thaw the butter overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
