Prosciutto Apple & Brie Crostini

These Prosciutto Apple & Brie Crostini are a perfectly delicious combination of savoury prosciutto, creamy brie, and with a hint of sweetness. The ideal little treats for get togethers, parties, or even as a light snack when you’re craving something simple yet delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette sliced into 15-20 rounds
  • Brie Camembert, or Caprice des Dieux cheese (sliced)
  • 8-10 Prosciutto slices halved
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • ¼-½ tsp Grainy mustard per crostini
  • ¼-½ tsp Fresh Basil Paste or 1 fresh basil leaf per crostini (See notes)
  • Fresh ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the baguette rounds on a baking sheet and toast them in until lightly golden, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the toasted baguette rounds from the oven and allow them cool slightly.
  • Once cooled spread a thin layer of grainy mustard on each piece of baguette.
  • Top baguette rounds with a slice of Caprice des Dieux cheese, apple, basil, and prosciutto.
  • Season with freshly ground pepper to taste.
  • Serve the Prosciutto Apple & Brie Crostini when ready and enjoy!
