Prosciutto Apple & Brie Crostini
These Prosciutto Apple & Brie Crostini are a perfectly delicious combination of savoury prosciutto, creamy brie, and with a hint of sweetness. The ideal little treats for get togethers, parties, or even as a light snack when you’re craving something simple yet delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette sliced into 15-20 rounds
- Brie Camembert, or Caprice des Dieux cheese (sliced)
- 8-10 Prosciutto slices halved
- 1 apple thinly sliced
- ¼-½ tsp Grainy mustard per crostini
- ¼-½ tsp Fresh Basil Paste or 1 fresh basil leaf per crostini (See notes)
- Fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the baguette rounds on a baking sheet and toast them in until lightly golden, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the toasted baguette rounds from the oven and allow them cool slightly.
- Once cooled spread a thin layer of grainy mustard on each piece of baguette.
- Top baguette rounds with a slice of Caprice des Dieux cheese, apple, basil, and prosciutto.
- Season with freshly ground pepper to taste.
- Serve the Prosciutto Apple & Brie Crostini when ready and enjoy!
