Toasted Cheesecake Roll-Ups

FAQ
Do I need to chill the filling?
Yes, even 10 minutes helps it firm up so it spreads easily and doesn’t leak out.
Can I bake these instead of pan-frying?
Yes, but it’s not recommended, pan-frying gives the best texture and keeps the filling intact.
Can I make them ahead of time?
You can assemble them a few hours ahead and refrigerate. Dip and cook just before serving for best texture.
Can I use frozen berries?
Fresh is best for structure, but if using frozen, strain them after thawing to avoid excess moisture.
Chef’s Tips
- Chill the filling for at least 10 minutes, this helps make spreading easier and keeps the roll-ups neat.
- Don’t overfill. A thin, even layer prevents the cheesecake from oozing out while frying.
- Cook on medium heat, too high and the outside browns before the inside warms through.

Toasted Cheesecake Roll-Ups
These French Toast Cheesecake Roll-Ups are basically breakfast pretending to be dessert… and I’m not mad about it. Soft bread rolled around fluffy cheesecake filling and juicy berries, then pan-fried in butter until golden and crisp on the outside. You get creamy, crispy, sweet, and just a little tangy in every bite. Top them with extra berries and a drizzle of syrup and tell me this doesn’t feel like something you’d order at brunch.

Notes
- Switch it up: Strawberries, blueberries, or even thin banana slices work beautifully.
- For extra sweetness, add a touch more confectioners’ sugar to the filling, or finish with a dusting on top.
- Best served warm for the ultimate creamy + crispy contrast.
