Lime-Cumin Yogurt Drizzle 2
Can I use regular yogurt?

Yes, regular yogurt works perfectly. Greek yogurt will make it thicker and creamier, while regular yogurt keeps it a bit lighter and looser.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes, it actually gets better after sitting for a few hours in the fridge as the flavours meld.

Can I use lemon instead of lime?

Yes, lemon works great, it’ll have a slightly softer flavour.

Is this more of a dip or a sauce?

Both. Keep it thick for dipping, or thin it out for drizzling over bowls, meats, or roasted veg.

Wife with the Knife
This is the kind of sauce you end up putting on everything without even thinking about it. Creamy Greek yogurt with lime, a bit of cumin for warmth, and a touch of honey to round it out. Garlic and fresh cilantro bring it together for a cool, tangy finish that’s great on grilled meats, roasted veg, or just stuffed into warm flatbreads.

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving if you can.

Notes

  • Works really well with grilled chicken, lamb, roasted vegetables, bao buns, or as a base sauce for wraps.
  • If the garlic feels too strong, reduce to half a clove or let the sauce rest a little longer before serving.
  • For a richer finish, add a small drizzle of olive oil just before serving.

Storage

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for upto 3–4 days.
  • Stir before serving, (it may naturally separate over time)
    • If it thickens in the fridge, loosen with a small splash of water or lime juice and mix until smooth again.
