Notes
Mason Jar Method: For an easy and quick way to combine the ingredients, add them to a mason jar, seal the lid, and shake vigorously until the vinaigrette is well mixed.
Vegan Option: Substitute pure maple syrup or agave for honey for a plant-based version.
Batching: This recipe can easily be doubled or halved depending on your needs.
Flavour Enhancements: For added flavor, try incorporating fresh herbs like basil, thyme, rosemary, oregano, parsley, or chives. Finely chop and mix them into the vinaigrette.
Tip: Fresh herbs add vibrant flavour, but you can also use dried herbs. Since dried herbs are more concentrated, use about ⅓ to ½ the amount of fresh herbs.
Storage: Keep the balsamic vinaigrette in a jar or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
