Loaded Hashbrowns

FAQ
Can I make these ahead of time?
You can prep toppings ahead, but assemble just before serving so the hashbrowns stay crisp.
Can I bake them instead of air frying?
Yes. They work perfectly in the oven (see method below).
Can I use fresh potatoes?
Yes, but shred and squeeze out excess moisture before cooking for best crispiness.
Chef’s Tips
- Air fry or bake in a single layer so they get properly crispy.
- Don’t overcrowd, space = crispier hashbrowns
- For best crispiness, use a wire rack on your baking sheet so air can circulate underneath the hashbrowns.
- Let the cheese bubble slightly for best melt and texture
- Add toppings right before serving so they stay crunchy

These are crunchy, salty, creamy, and honestly a little dangerous once you start eating them. Perfect for game day, snacking, or that “I’ll just have one more” situation that turns into five.
